Mount Royal Walsh and Divex Marine Announce the Acquisition of Papineau Sandblast, Strengthening Their Position as Eastern Canada’s Leading Private Ship Maintenance Group

Mount Royal Walsh, in partnership with Divex Marine, announces the acquisition of Papineau Sandblast, a company recognized for its expertise in industrial sandblasting, surface preparation, and specialized coatings. The transaction was completed for an undisclosed amount.
This strategic acquisition supports the group’s objective to expand and strengthen its presence in the marine industry, while significantly enhancing its specialized service offering. Adding this highly specialized capability to the group’s existing expertise expands the range of services available to shipowners, streamlines their operations, and positions Mount Royal Walsh and Divex Marine as a one-stop, fully integrated marine service provider.
By combining Papineau Sandblast’s surface preparation expertise with Divex Marine’s marine and subsea capabilities, the group can now deliver comprehensive solutions covering vessel maintenance, repair, and operational needs.
