  • Maritime Operations Workshop Supervisor

    The Shop Foreman oversees the daily operations of the marine workshop, ensuring that equipment repairs and projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards. The foreman supervises technicians, coordinates with project managers, and maintains a structured and productive work environment.

    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Supervise and mentor technicians and shop personnel
    • Plan and monitor daily tasks
    • Coordinate work with project managers to ensure deadlines and requirements are met
    • Oversee the repair and maintenance of marine and shop equipment
    • Supervise maintenance and repairs of the rolling fleet (vehicles and mobile equipment)
    • Always ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry standards
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and support the team as needed
    • Enforce health and safety regulations
    • Train and mentor employees
    • Manage workflow to achieve productivity goals and deadlines

    Requirements:
    • Experience supervising personnel in a marine or industrial environment
    • Strong mechanical knowledge of marine equipment and systems

    • Knowledge of health and safety standards

  • Sandblaster / Industrial Painter (airless)

    • Location: Shipyard in Québec
    • Employment: Permanent / Full-time
    • Salary: To be discussed based on experience
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday
    • Field: Sandblasting and industrial painting
    • Work location: On-site

    Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal products (sandblasting)
    • Perform general labor tasks in steel structure plants, heavy machinery facilities, boiler shops, sheet metal workshops, and other metal product manufacturing companies
    • Any other related tasks

    Requirements:

    • Experience in sandblasting
    • Experience in industrial painting
    • Experience in the maritime field

    • Strong organizational and efficiency skills
    • Attention to detail and thoroughness

    • Ability to work independently

    Job Benefits:

    • Daily per diem provided for relocations
